The journal publishes: fundamental studies of classical models of ideal and viscous incompressible fluids and perfect gases; studies related to the complication and improvement of these models for describing special classes of flows of practical interest (motion of bodies in water at high speeds, turbulent flows, flows of chemically reacting gas mixtures, multiphase flows, flows of stratified fluids, flows in the boundary layer, flows under microgravity conditions, etc.); studies on the development of new models allowing to describe flows of liquids and gases under conditions characteristic of the "junction of sciences" (motion of viscoelastic media, magnetohydrodynamic flows, electrohydrodynamic flows, biomechanical flows, etc.); studies in the field of flow stability; study of turbulence models and laminar-turbulent transition, etc.
